The 73,000 square foot facility of the Upper Perkiomen Valley YMCA is a staggering gift to our community. The number of features such as pools, gyms, indoor track and equipment are magnified by the beauty of the building itself. Yet even the architecture still does not exceed the dizzying array of programs and events being offered at our Y. It is a health-promoting, refreshingly clean environment with a friendly staff. The staff and volunteers are keenly aware that they are stewards of a great gift. We do not want to simply teach athleticism, but also character.
