High Street in West Chester. Univest increased its presence in Chester County through the acquisition of Fox Chase Bank which closed on July 1, 2016. In conjunction with transitioning Fox Chase Bank customers to the Univest operating system, the existing Fox Chase Bank financial center in West Chester was relocated to bring expanded services and convenience to customers. Former Fox Chase Bank customers have received new Univest ATM and debit cards and all Fox Chase Bank financial centers have been rebranded as Univest. With the addition of the rebranded locations, all Univest customers now have access to 39 financial centers in Bucks, Chester, Montgomery, Philadelphia and Lancaster Counties in Pennsylvania and Cape May County in New Jersey. Former Fox Chase Bank customers now have access to a broader array of financial solutions including insurance, investments, mortgage banking, wealth management and equipment financing. “We are excited to officially welcome Fox Chase Bank customers to the Univest family,” said Mike Keim, president, Univest Bank and Trust Co. “The system conversion went smoothly and we are certain the acquisition will benefit both former Fox Chase customers and our Univest customers as they enjoy the expanded service area including our new financial center in West Chester.” In addition to this acquisitive growth, Univest remains committed to increasing its physical presence in its expansion markets. Earlier this year, Univest opened a new financial center in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia as well as its first office in Lancaster County. A financial center is also scheduled to open later this year at Hamilton Crossings in Lower Macungie Township in the Lehigh Valley. Univest will also continue to increase its brand presence in 2017 as Valley Green Bank locations, which are currently a division of Univest, will be transitioned to the Univest name.
